Bethanie & Jeff Engagement Session — 7.13.12

Definition of troopers: Bethanie and Jeff. If you’re from around the Pittsburgh area, you know that we’ve had some “wonderful” weather lately. It’s been hot, it’s been muggy and it’s been dry. Yet this weekend’s forecast called for a lot of rain, and that presents some obstacles when you’re driving up from North Carolina for an engagement shoot. So we pushed things to yesterday, and these guys showed no signs of having just traveled that distance! We ended up having a great day and they were a ton of fun to work with (actually, it’s just a lot of fun to mess with Jeff!)

And let’s not forget Brandy – such a beautiful dog and so easy to work with!

Kristin & Ryan Engagement Session – 5.19.12

Kristin and Ryan came “home” today for their engagement session — and what a beautiful day we had! Oakland’s Heinz Chapel and Cathedral of Learning area were the setting, and as you can expect, they certainly didn’t disappoint. These two are Pitt Panthers through and through. It was great to get to know both Kristin and Ryan and I am truly looking forward to their late December wedding. It’s going to be a blast!

Leslie and Matt: Engagement Session in Pittsburgh

When Leslie told me that she wanted to do some engagement shots in early February, my immediate thought was I hope she is looking to have snow in the background. Silly me for thinking our weather would be typical! Instead, we got an absolutely beautiful day. We spent some time in Market Square, PPG Place and Schenley Park – and now I’m looking forward to September even more!

and a gallery from the day (has many additional photographs as well)…
