Jen and Mark: Campana Chapel at UPG & Bar Rizzi (preview)

Despite all of the forecasters calling for rain, it never came – and what a day it was for the newly wed Mr. and Mrs. Mark and Jen Siegel! The ceremony was held at the chapel at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg with the reception being held at Bar Rizzi, with pics taken at the Lynch Hall Mansion in between. What a tremendous couple to work with and the whole day was just a flat out great time. Some preview pics can be seen below…

Congratulations to

Mr. and Mrs. Mark and Jennifer Siegel!

Photo of the week…

Well, today’s isn’t actually from this week – it’s from quite some time ago, actually — 2005, to be exact. What made me think of it was when I just looked out the window and literally couldn’t see a cloud in the sky. It reminded me of this day spent in Montmartre in Paris. The white marble of Sacre Couer just popped out against this blue sky. No touch ups, I swear!

I’m using this to introduce something I want to start and keep going, however. I can’t say as I know exactly what direction it will go in, but it should motivate me to take pics of the little things as well as all of the others that I’m doing this summer.

Kevin Gatons’ Memorial Day 5K

Yes, it was hot on Memorial Day – but that didn’t stop the running community from taking part in the 5th Annual Kevin Gatons’ Memorial Day 5K. Check out the galleries below (I’ve highlighted some of my favorites) and contact me for ordering information. All proceeds benefit the Gatons’ Scholarship Fund.

Overall winners of the 5th Annual Kevin Gatons’ Memorial Day 5K included Zach Hebda (left)and Cheryl Gatons (right).

The start of the race…

Mr. Rich Wright — his help throughout everything has been invaluable. Paul Henry, our starter, can be seen in the back right of the photo as well. Thank you to both for all of your help!
