I think that you might pick up on a theme here! These guys – man, were they fun to work with, and Lucy was just phenomenal as well! So much fun in Happy Valley!
To have the opportunity to capture these images is an honor that wasn’t lost on me. Typically, I’m a believer of the need for a lot of planning in order to make sure that everything goes well (just check out the artwork on that last keepsake pic – sent to Matt from Starbucks while I waited for them!). But we also know that no matter how much planning we undertake, something will always happen to throw a monkeywrench into your day. Well, I’m really not sure that this could have gone better! They were the last ones to get on the ice before they shut it down to Zamboni it, and the people working at the Ice Rink couldn’t have been easier or more accommodating to work with. A beautiful day all around for a beautiful couple!

I’ve been looking forward to working with Ashley and Greg for some time – and we were really hoping for some snow to make the day even better. Ashley was in charge of the weather, and she came through big time! Absolutely loved working with these two (make that four!!!)
I seriously cannot wait to take part in Hayley and Mike’s day next summer – working with these two is going to be a total blast. We had some great weather for an engagement shoot and it’s just fun to be able to work with some great locations that are so meaningful to a couple. Here are some of my favorites from the session…
This is a post that I truly look forward to every year – mainly because I get the pleasure of sifting through my year’s worth of photographs and in the process relive each and every event. I have been just unbelievably fortunate to collaborate with some incredible people — that’s something that’s never lost on me. Whether it be a wedding, senior portraits, newborns, engagements or sports, it’s always something fun and I am just so thankful for each and every opportunity.
